Two great friends, one shared diagnosis, one rainy rock concert where inspiration, not lightning, struck. At the end of that day, and the beginning of this business, we decided not to let being gluten free get in our way.

Anyone who knows us knows how much we love food, love to talk about food and love to cook food. It is only natural that we have a gluten free business together. The “together” is key for us. One of us is a pastry chef who came with a rockin' collection of restaurant quality recipes. The other is an unstoppably cheerful, gluten free home-baker. Voila, you have a woman owned, Colorado based small business!

Thankfully, gluten free awareness is increasing everywhere. It is now estimated that approximately one-third of the US population manages special dietary needs due to celiac symptoms, food allergies, food sensitivities, diabetes and other auto-immune maladies. This means you are not alone!  No matter the reason, practicing a gluten free diet is becoming a more common solution to relieving a multitude of health issues. Our goal at Cheatin' Wheat is to give choice back to people who have become gluten free.

And we admit it, we have fun doing this! And after knowing each other for over 15 years, we have developed our own language. We have also found we are both hard-working, energetic girls who love to laugh, love to learn and think we can accomplish anything. Most importantly, we are committed to you, our customer.
